Options for pasting screenshots into Word
Savvy customer Len F was frustrated that screenshots pasted into Microsoft Word are difficult to move,
you can't simply drag them wherever you want.
It's because Word's default Layout Option is In Line with Text, but you can change that!
After pasting a screenshot, click the Layout Options icon near the top-right corner of the image,
then click the In Front of Text option.

Set the default layout = In Front of Text
To make that the default, right-click the option, then click Set as Default.
In older versions of Word, you can change the default here:
- Click File > Options > Advanced.
- In the Cut, copy, and paste section, change the setting under Insert/paste pictures to In front of text.
Actually, all the Layout Options under the heading With Text Wrapping enable you to drag images.
